An AngelCare Baby Monitor is Peace of Mind for New
Parents
An AngelCare Baby Monitor combines a quality sound monitor and a movement monitor in a single
system. It doesn't matter whether baby is awake or sound asleep, Angelcare under-the-Mattress Sensor
Pad will detect all of his or her movements, and instantly let you know if there is trouble --
wherever you are in the house or yard -- in time to make a difference.

Why Every New Parent Needs a Baby Monitor
The AngelCare Baby Monitor is a small bit of "Peace of Mind" for every
parent.
You should use a monitor with movement sensor for at least the first year of your baby's life.
Then without the movement sensor for the the next 6 months to a year or more.
Here are just a few if the many very good reasons to use a baby monitor and to choose
AngelCare Baby Monitors:
1. A monitor with movement sensor (like the AC401) can be used in a basinet, portable crib, or a
regular crib. Just make sure you put a plywood board under the sensor pad if the bottom of the basinet or crib
is soft or just a spring base. This helps prevent false alarms.
2. The AngelCare Baby Monitor and sensor is completely portable and easy to pack in
a suitcase or diaper bag for travel.
3. The AngelCare Baby Monitors have a long range and are crystal clear. If you have a large
house or yard you will love range. This monitor works at the complete opposite end
of almost any house and throughout almost any yard.
4. A monitor can give you the piece of mind to sleep at night, especially with the fear of SIDS.
They can detect movement and not just weight.
A good monitor will pick up your child's movement from breathing even in the soundest state of
sleep.
5. You can use your AngelCare Baby Monitor sensor in several modes.
It has one mode that give an audible beep with each movement as well as detecting sounds from the nursery
(for extra peace of mind and so you know it is working if you are really nervous)
A second mode that detects movement (and sounds) and sets off an alarm if baby does not move for 15
seconds.
And a third mode that lets you shut off the movement sensor and use it just as a sound monitor (great for an
older baby or toddler and you don't need to buy a new monitor).
It also has a warning beep before the actual alarm sounds that gives you time to go in and check on
your child, before the alarm goes off and woke him or her up.
6. Babies sleep better with a monitor because you are not constantly going into the room
to check on him or her and accidentally waking them up.
7. The AngelCare Baby Monitor has a light display that lights up more lights (in a row) when your child
makes more noise. You can easily visually look at the monitor in the middle of the night and tell by
the display if he or she is sleeping soundly.
8. The monitor has two bands (a & b). You can switch bands on both the nursery and parent unit if one
band is getting a lot of static or interference. If you have two small children you can also use two monitors,
one set to each band.
